Canadian Guide to the Uniform Preparation of Judgments
The Canadian Guide to the Uniform Preparation of Judgments was approved in 2002 by the Canadian Citation Committee and has since been adopted by many Canadian courts. The Guide provides best practice guidelines for the e-preparation and e-distribution of judgments.

Evaluating the effect of free access to law
LexUM is currently coordinating an evaluation project which aims at assessing the effect of free access to law initiatives in western Africa on lawyers' competence in terms of their ability to conduct legal research.

In 2003, LexUM submitted a report entitled Information Management in Algeria's Department of Justice to the United Nations' Development Program in Algeria. The report evaluated institutional and human resource needs for the legal and judicial information management at the Algerian Department of Justice.

In 2005, LexUM submitted a report entitled Strategic Elements in the Development of Information Systems in the Legal Domain to the Tunisian Department of Justice and Human Rights and the United Nations' Development Program in Tunisia.

In 2005, LexUM conducted a study for the International Telecommunications Union and the World Bank to evalute the viablity of a multilingual telecommunications regulators' decisions database.
